Partial but very usable support was added in SP2 via Snippets.

I've created a code snippet for JQuery and JQuery UI that you can use in Expression Web: http://gallery.expression.microsoft.com/zippyv
Since JQuery (UI) get a lot of updates, it's easier to maintain and update a codesnippet than Expression Web.

Cheryl, I agree with your point. I've heard that Resig and Microsoft have had some talks, so my expectation is that jQuery support in something like xWeb is inevitable.

I guess one advantage of having a defined set of JQuery plugins is that they would all be compatible with each other.

Will, while I agree jQuery isn't the only framework (I like Moo tools) it is the most commands used.

While I voted for this idea and would definitely find it useful, jQuery is not the only JS framework out there.

No votes left but would like to see this feature added.

I favor this approach over adding Expression Web coded widgets since properly done it would be extensible without waiting for a new version of Expression Web.

I think this is good to include as it encourages more advanced use of features and ex fp users are somewhat familar with this type of thing (in the old fp limited way re some bots)
