Forget it. EW shouldn't take sides on stuff that should be kept in 3rd party libraries.

What madness overcame the development team that the FP album tools wre left out of expression. It is beyond comprehension. If expressionmedia had been halfway decent then there might have been a business case for a seperate application but media is a dogs breakfast and has now been unbundled by MS.

I am voting for this, as I have a website of Welsh chapel and churches and it takes ages to lay it all out manually. I think it would be a great feature to have, so long as it is free of bugs, and validates ok.
I use webalbum too, as Pat G advised, and have also tried jalbum

The howls of protest about missing FP features started with EW1, of course. My sense is that the photo gallery is the #1 FP feature that folks still mention. I think it needs to go back in. However, I probably won't use it; I've used several lightbox type gallery displays and now have my own PHP stuff to allow users to self-service their galleries.

This is one of the most missed features of the old FP. Whatever is added it needs to produce standards compliant code AND be easy to edit. Like Tina I have used and recommended http://www.ornj.net/webalbum/ I've not tried the jQuery ones as yet so yes, I'll add my vote for this feature although there are others that are more important.

Better yet include jQuery integration so that folks can use existing widgets and add new ones. That way they don't have to wait for Expression widgets to be updated. Otherwise, making an official/semi-official add-in would be another way to go, one people could expand on and customize.

Decided to give this a vote because there are quite a lot of horrible photogalleries out there that don't cut the mustard on the code they produce. Though http://www.ornj.net/webalbum/ is good on code.... its not perfect on the interface for seo... good produced code and good seo are essential for a pg.... and the latest lightbox features would be good too there are commercial addins for lightboxes of course but having one in ew would super cool.. another missing ex fp bot that older users love... not essential of course but for newbies and homepage users or even small business owners that like diy this would be a great move in the right direction.
