Will, that's what I use Topstyle's Style Sweeper. I can configured how it reformats my css to my personal style.

I used to think this was a cool feature of HTML editors, but after toying with it years ago I've not used it since. I cringe at phrases like "...making indentations correctly" because while convention is nice, personal style is also important. For example, I don't like the way the CSS panels alter the CSS files I craft.

Lower down on my priority list as XML format and reformat HTML accomplish this nicely. What extras do you have in mind for this feature that it does not do now??

As Cheryl says, XML format and reformat HTML for all intents and purposes does this.

This is lower on my priorites as well since between Apply XML format & reformat HTML 90% or more of that is accomplished anyway. Minor improvements to the Code Format section of Tools > Page Editor options would address the remaining issues.

I would not make this a priority, we can have this via a addon in firefox and besides which ew does this via reformat and optimize on right click in code view and apply xmal formatting rules which are set up via page editor options its one of the fundementals I push all the time through a free ebook and tutorials... this would be a cherry on top if it did a few more things... but ew does what is described above already. Depends how much more it did.
