Don't just add more! Instead, add workable, real-world usable templates.

I don't know how many workarounds and kludges I've had to learn to ignore when figuring out how particular examples were created - like the bizarre "one page to a folder" scheme used in the current examples!

If you don't like the current examples, vote for this, so that we get the option of new, helpful, standardised examples!

Steve, have you checked typhoon Galley? There are more templates there.

I don't use what are already provided as I don't like them. I am not voting for this one.

I was really diappointed with the available templates. I know it's a matter of personal taste, but I found most of them gaudy. Would love to see more.

Low priority for me. A better idea would be to reorganize the ones that are currently available into a system that makes sense. When newbies use the setup like is currently used with each page in its own folder, they think that is the way it should be done and add each new page they create into its own folder which makes for a rather disorganized site.

I don't think its quite safe to have more starter templates, the practices encouraged with the current ones have to be continually discouraged by mvps... it came up again on the ms ew forum recently. I have had op's whom I've helped having to explain why they should not have each page in its own folder... and so on with the other bad practices already included.. they are not many but unless you have the new templates severly critiqued before they are used.... I think its a bit of a dangerous path. I would fix the old one's first. extremly low on the priority list.
