The current Development Server in Expression Web is based on Cassini. It has a number of major limitations. IIS Express is very much better and is now the standard 'dev server' in Visual Studio 2011.

SSI & classic ASP would be very useful to have supported in the dev server. I haven't explored th new cshtml or vbhtml extensions but it seems to me that IIS Express is the replacement for Cassini in newer versions of MS applications that include a dev server.

This comes quite often... so I support it, but still saving my last two votes.

This will allow Classic ASP (.asp), SSI (shtml) and ASP Web Pages (.cshtml and .vbhtml) to be previewed on any version of Windows (XP upwards) without the need for full IIS.
